Google believes that the most ambitions ideas and the creativity of young people can help make the world a better place. The Doodle 4 Google competition is about inspiring students to think, be creative and dream big. This year’s theme – If I could be anything it would be…. is about showcasing creativity and tapping into the remarkable imagination that children have. This year’s competition for 2017 is in its final stages. After a few thousand entries, the judges chose 300 entries to move to stage two, and a final 75 entries to move to the final stage.
We are delighted that GABRIELA LEON in Sixth Class is in the final public voting stage. Gabriela chose to create a mechanism for animals of all kinds to communicate with us. We need to get Gabriela to the final 5 winners to be in with a chance to win. The public can vote for their favourite doodle from February 7th until February 21st at doodles.google.ie/d4g (Group 3 for Gabriela’s entry).
As well as the prizes for one individual entrant, the winning school will receive €10,000 to be spent on technology, so we need your help as well as well as that of all your family and friends to help us realise our ambition of having the winning entry.
